I have a very fun friend,
Who doesn't read my blog.
Literacy's not her problem,
Her dial-up tends to bog.
Her husband keeps her posted,
And we thank him for that.
But he finds my prose misleading,
Which forces us to chat.
That's all I want to say about
My running, thinning pal.
Except her hair - have you seen of late?
She IS a stylish gal.
I pray she'll find some restful sleep
Before the night is done.
(And as for her hubbie...)
Should I ever want an editor
I'll simply hire one.
