A mother and her young daughter walked along the road and they came upon an anthill.
“Wow, ants!” exclaimed the little girl. “I know these ants, they are my friends.”
The mother was pleased with her daughter’s keen sense of appreciation for God’s creatures. “Yes God made the ants, and God made you…”
The girl interrupted, “AND because I took my bath today, the ants know ME!”
“Really?” the puzzled mother humored the little girl, “What makes you say that?”
After a deep sigh, the daughter replied, “Because we sing that song at church: ‘Now wash me and I shall be what earth ants know’!”
